The Liam Byatt Memorial Match ⚽️ - Total Raised Update 🚨

We are extremely happy and proud to announce that on Friday 19th June, we raised a whopping total of £2213 in aid of the Stroke Association!! 💜

This was by far our biggest event yet, and definitely most memorable, keeping Liam’s memory alive in the process!

We would like to thank all of the supporters that attended on the night and donated to such a great cause. To have 200+ spectators there was incredible and you all made great noise!

We apologise for the length in this figure becoming common knowledge, I have unfortunately been battling some health problems which resulted in me being admitted into hospital so the final stages of the process had to get put on the back burner but we are happy we can now announce the final total now.

Without our sponsors, nothing would have been possible so we are extremely grateful to you too.

I will be taking a step back from the page now to recover and hopefully we will be back soon with another Charity Match update! For now, peace out! ✌🏼

Stroke Association 💜

Last night saw us take part in The Liam Byatt Memorial Match ⚽️. And what an evening it was.

The first half saw us take an early 2 goal lead thanks to goals from Charlie and Michael. After that the rest of the half was quite equal and both keepers made great saves to keep the score line as it was!

Jubilee came out stronger in the second half and turned the game right around by scoring 3 quick goals making it 3-2. The goals for Jubilee were scored by Lee Cropper, Alex Holland (P), and Zac Oakes.

We had gone extremely sloppy and it looked like it could get worse for us. But we made some subs, changed formation and we started to settle again.

Not long after going behind, we quickly got level through a lovely move involving Charlie and Gift, which was calmly finished by Gift. Our tails were up, Gift collected the ball from the goal, we could feel more coming!

And just like that, Gift finds himself free in the box with 4 minutes to go, and BOOM, 4-3!!!! You could feel the relief, but now we needed to focus… Jubilee had some dangerous players on the pitch and we knew we’d have our backs against the wall now.

Oh and we did. Jubilee 3 minutes of constant attacks, with a notable chance coming from Cropper who found himself with a free header in the box, crashing it off the post and out for a goal kick.

With around 20 seconds to go, Jubilee attack and we manage to get the ball clear. Jubilee pick it up in midfield and are disposed by Chris who plays a ball over the top in behind for Charlie to run on to and slot past the keeper… 5-3 and surely game over?

Jubilee kick off, and the ref blows for full-time!!! F4C are the winners of The Liam Byatt Memorial Match 2026!!

This was a fantastic game, and both teams should be extremely proud of how they played.

We would like to extend our thanks to Northwood Community Sports for once again allowing us to use their facilities and being extremely accommodating with our requests. For example, allowing our Match Sponsor to leave 2 cars in the car park for advertisement, and also allowing The Beef Fellas to attend and sell their incredible food. Your support is greatly appreciated and never goes unnoticed.

All that is left to do now is count what has been raised for The Stroke Association, but what I can say is it’s looking like a fantastic amount!

Last night we had a laugh and enjoyed a fantastic game of football, but we also remembered a great lad who is sadly missed every single day. The aim was, and is to keep Liam’s memory alive, and I feel we did that last night.
