Free YOGA Squirrel taster sessions will be taking place tomorrow at Tunstall and Oueens Park Longton .

The sessions will be delivered by Staffordshire Wildlife Trust and run by an accredited children's Yoga teacher.

The sessions are aimed at children aged 2- 5 yrs old. YOGA Squirrels is all about a fun, creative approach to movement and body awarness for you little ones.

Parents/Carers will need to attend throughout the session .There will be an opportunity for parents/carers to join in the relaxation activites but not the yoga itself.

Session Times:

Tunstall Park 10.30am-11.30am by the play area.

Queens Park Longton 2.00pm - 3.00pm by the play area.

Free Level 1 Childrens' Bike Ability programme taking place at Longton Park 10am- 12pm and Hanley Park 1pm - 3pm Sat 31st August.

Suitable for children 7+ who are able to ride unaided for a minimum of 1 minute .Must also be able to stop/start unaided.

Sat 24th Tracking/Orienteering 10.30am- 11.30am Westport Lake by the visitors Centre.

Suitable for ages 5+ but we will do our best to accommodate all the family 🙂.

Just to remind everyone that theTots and Tone and Get Active sessions with Jon at Westport Lake and Tunstall park will not be running this week but will be back to normal next week.

Why not come and give Tai Chi a go on Friday instead 11am- 12pm Tunstall Park.

Alternatively bring the children to tomorrows Wild Play session 10.30am -11.30am Tunstall Park

Due to the weather conditions, today's Pop up and Play Cricket session at Tunstall Park 1.30pm - 3.30pm has been cancelled.

Free Boogie Beat session, come along with your little ones' to this free play session which included music, storytelling , nursery rhymes, movement and dance.

Wild Play is all about using your imagination and having fun in the park. Lots of fun activities themed around Alice in Wonderland.

From rabbit holes, craft activities, story telling to slacklining let's make Wild Play fun in the park. Suitable for ages 5+ but we will do our best to accommodate all the family 😊
