I'm just waiting to find out whether our Mossley and Endon Village Halls are planning to reopen.... but it certainly looks as though we are gearing up for a return to dancing

Hello everyone! I have been holding off writing anything and have waited with baited breath for an announcement from the government, thinking i'd be able to tell you some good news. I was sure we would have been given a green light of some sort to open back up. Even if it was just for private lessons. But it looks like our lovely school will have to wait for....who knows how long, before any of us meet again, which saddens me greatly. In the mean time, if you have been practising any moves at home I'd love to see them! Or if you'd like a lesson in your garden let me know! Mine, sadly, is a tiered one so not suitable else I'd invite you round! Stay in touch and as soon as I hear anything I'll let you all know. Lots of love and best wishes to you all, Madeline.

4 walls, a floor and a roof.
A stereo and a beat.
Trainers and lycra.
Movement to music.

It's just a dance class!

Things get built here -
Stronger bodies.
Fitter bodies.
Confident bodies.

Things get broken here -
Barriers.
Silence.
Sweat.

....but it's just a dance class!

Friendships are forged.
Community is created.
We rally together in the sad times.
We celebrate the good times.

....but it's just a dance class!

We conquer our demons.
We relieve our stress.
We quiet the voices in our heads.
We feel at home here.

....but it's just a dance class!

It's the date in our diary we never miss.
It's the time for us to be carefree.
It's the place where we can let go.
It's part of our lives.

It's not just a dance class.

We will be back. Stronger than ever. Together.

With a heavy heart I have to tell you that there can be no more group dance classes until further notice. I will still be doing private lessons for those of you who want your dancing fix but I won't be able to dance with you. These are £30 an hour and up to 4 people can share a lesson. The good news is, I have lots of availability for this so let me know asap and I'll book a hall.
I will miss you all so much! Keep practising in your kitchen and send me some vids so I can critique!

Following a couple of enquiries just want to confirm classes ARE still on! :) Please make sure you follow hygeine guidlines and wash and/or gel your hands before AND after class. If you feel unwell or have recently returned from travel to affected areas please err on the side of caution and give class a miss.

I will be encouraging solo work with the childrens classes to minimize contact - there is plenty we can be working on and lots of fun to be had!
With the adults classes I will demonstrate steps by the side of you to minimise contact.

I am watching guidleines and goverment advice. Should anything change and a class be cancelled I will post here and contact those who have been coming over last few weeks where possible.
