Roll out your yoga mats and try a little practise (even if it's only 30 minutes) to help escape from the "to do lists" and fast pace of the season.
You'll feel so much better for it, calmer and more grounded.

Take some time to self care, especially during the festive period when it's easy to feel overwhelmed with stress. We often are juggling so many roles leaving us feeling busy, busy ,busy.
A few minutes spent with mediation, particularly focussing on the breath will help boost our immunity and calm down an agitated mind,

We have been practising grounding, warming and calming yoga poses during our Autumnal classes over the last few weeks.

Happy Summer Solstice
In yoga the Summer Solstice is a reminder of brightness, growth and possibility and it is the longest day of the year.

Roll out your yoga mats today and focus on some self-care. Yoga brings so many benefits to the body and mind, whether it is improved sleep, stress reduction or reduced pain and tension in the muscles (to name a few.)

Feeling anxious? Yoga can help as it incorporates various breathing techniques (pranayama) that can help regulate the nervous system and reduce feelings of anxiety.
Poses such as Child's Pose and Savasana help to reduce tension in the body and enable us to relax.
