My amazing client and friend is walking the Great Wall of china in aid of Coppaafeel breast cancer awareness after training for over 7 months.
After going through so much herself she truly is inspirational.
I know you’ll smash it Nicola all the best!!! See you on the other side

BUT! I got up and ran over 10k 🏃‍♀️🔥

And honestly that’s the difference.

There are always reason why we shouldn’t or can’t exercise:
“I went to bed too late “
“I had a drink”
“I’m too tired after a busy week
I just don’t feel like it

And sometimes those reasons are completely valid ❤️
But if we wait until we feel like exercising we’ll probably miss a lot of opportunities to move.
The people who choose to make movement part of their daily lives who are the ones who are investing in a healthier future self . Because movement isn’t just about fitness or how we look.

It can help feel better mentally and physically 💪

And it doesn’t have to be a 10k
It can be 10 mins a day:
A walk
A stretch
A dance around the kitchen
A cycle
Playing with the kids

It all counts
You don’t need to feel motivated you just need to start!

Your future self will thank you and your kids will be proud of you 👏
Start today

A little movement goes a long even on holiday. It’s so easy just to think I’m on holiday but you CAN enjoy your holiday and keep active at the same time.ok so I did run most mornings but you don’t have too.
You can :
Play ball in the pool with your kids
Go on the slides with your kids (defo gets the step count up)
Swim in the pool or sea
Take advantage of your resort activities
Or even taking the stairs instead of the lift
This will:
Boost your energy
Helps you find balance- you can enjoy food and drinks whilst balancing it out with movement
Makes exploring more fun
Keeps your routine going- you aren’t starting from scratch when you get home you’ve kept some level of fitness

It’s so important to keep moving and keep healthy. The saying goes if you don’t use it you’ll lose it and that’s so true! Kudos to all those out there who put their health as a priority 💪👏👍
Also thank you to for the tips on the deadlift and well done to 🙌

Sometimes at the start of the week you don’t plan to do as much exercise as you end up doing!
Somehow I’ve clocked up 18miles of running this week, including a fell race. Along side this I’ve kept up my resistance and Strength training, which I know has played a huge part in improving my running by building strength stability and endurance.
The extra strength definitely helped when I headed out with my son in the pouring rain who is quicker than me now after a great intense class .training by !🙌💪 and with my husband today.
It’s been challenging but rewarding week of training and it’s a good reminder that consistency across different disciplines of exercise really does pay off.

Exercise doesn’t have to be boring- it can be one of the best ways to have fun with your friends!
Staying active is important for physical and mental health, but the secret is sticking with it.
Why not challenge your friends to:
A step count competition
A couch to 5K challenge
A hike
A fitness bingo or workout challenge
When you exercise with friends you’re more likely to stay motivated push yourself further and have a laugh along the way, plus a little bit of friendly competition never hurts.
This week challenge yourself to try something new, grab a friend, set a goal and make fitness an adventure rather than a chore.
Tag the friend you’d take on a fitness challenge with
