My fight night review 24/7/26 hideout arena, Bolton!

My first time at this venue and although small it looked really good. As usual with small hall shows there wasn’t a bad seat in the house and as you’ll see from my photos I was sat ringside on Row A right next to the walk on so I didn’t miss any of the action!

One thing I did notice last night a little more than usual was friends & family leaving once they had seen who they came to see. This leaves the venue looking and feeling really empty throughout all of the fights, boxing tickets are not cheap, you’ve paid your money so why not stay and watch the whole show 🙏 it makes the experience better for everyone!

The bar sold Haribo which made me very happy although the £4 a bag price didn’t impress my dad so I gave him the odd love heart to stop him from moaning and onto the fights we went!

First up a female 4 rounder Armenian Ani Hovsepyan cruising to a 40-36 win over Johana Rajmont. I don’t really know much about either fighter, I have seen Johana once before against Gemma Richardson on the MVP uk show back in april. Maybe we will see some more of Ani who is now undefeated in her first 3 fights.

Next up Ibrahim Kola moved to 3-0 beating Jake pollard over 6 rounds, I spotted a familiar face at ringside supporting him in Latif Mohammed (my fellow Terri Harper fans will know Latif) who was also there with Maaz Bin Saud who fought a little later.

Fight 3 and Mae Astbury was up against Klaudia Ferenczi. It was a dominant performance from Mae fighting for the first time out of her new gym winning all 6 rounds. It was great to see Mae get back to winning ways and we had a great chat after.

Marshall Meacock breezed through his fight with Naeem Ali to move to 5-0 as a pro.

Christopher Roberts made his pro Debut against Harley Collison over 4 rounds. I was a little annoyed to hear 1 or 2 Roberts fans shouting things like “he’s 💩” I found this a bit disrespectful to an away fighter who was giving away weight to give Chris his debut. Chris won the first 3 rounds but in round 4 I think Harley just decided to show a few ppl that he is far from 💩 as he landed some big shots and won the last round.

Next up was Maaz Bin Saud against Sam Kirk, I recognised Jason from Stefy Bulls gym in Sam’s corner but there was little he could do to stop Maaz who was very impressive in just his 2nd pro fight. Sam received a cut which led to the fight being stopped having boxed 4 rounds, to the scorecard it went and 40-36 to Maaz.

Stevi Levy up next versus Kira Carter. A fight that I think most ppl would expect Stevi to win and the level in class was clear to see from the first bell. Stevi landing at will on her way to a 40-36 win which should lead the way to a big fight later in the year 🙏 a special mention to Kira who is one of the most active fighters out there. I seem to see her fight on almost every show I go to!

Last up we had Mikey O’Sullivan, from wales but fighting out of the Crolla gym he stormed to a 40-35 win over Mexican Jorge Balleza to move to 2-0. Anthony Crolla told us to keep our eye on Mikey as we should start seeing a lot more of him very soon.
