Congratulations to Angus (Mopp) Macdonald on winning the first competition this year on what i would describe as a Jabbly kind of day with a northerly wind giving us no shelter, also to Iain Murray as runner up , fish of the day was a new club record Tope on boat 61" x 21" making on charts a weight of 33lb 8 oz, species caught on the day were - Mackerel, Launce, Whiting ,Thornback and Spotted Ray, L*D, Haddock, Grey Gurnard, Ballan Wrasse and the Tope.
after a delayed maintenance and Survey the boat is back at Kirkibost Marina and we hope to catch up on competitions and trips to make sure we can keep the boat going we need more anglers out each trip.

Update regarding our boat SYSAC2 . Survey ongoing with a lot of new regulations to comply to for 5 year survey . Club is working hard to ready boat so we can get on with our season, coding will be changed from 60 Nm from shore to 20 nm but this should not effect us as we only ever went to a max of 19 Nm from the Butt of Lewis .
Due to increased costs there are new charges as follows - all day Charter £600, Evening trips £25 per Person, Daily charges Non Members £80 , Members £55, OAP £45, Juniors £15. for further information please contact Norman Campbell.
