Massive congratulations to our very own Captain Jackson, who has signed for Avery U18s at the remarkable age of 15. Creating a pathway for our lads to play at the highest level is at the heart of what we do as a club, and Jackson is a brilliant example of that vision in action.
Thank you to everyone who has supported him, especially his coaches over the last four years - Dave Powell, Danny Attwood, Carl Boucher and Matt Robbins.

Parents and lads were down at Somers last night to watch England’s first World Cup match. The boys finished training at 8.30 and headed straight into the bar, where we had tables reserved in our name along with complimentary cheese and biscuits. On top of that, everyone enjoyed a free pint courtesy of Somers when England opened the scoring.
A fantastic evening all round. Thank you to the whole team at Somers Sports and Social Club for your 5‑star hospitality. See you Tuesday! 😍

Fantastic day today at the club’s presentation day, with huge congratulations to all the winners across every age group.
A special well‑done to two of our lads: Ollie A, who won SDYFL Players’ Player of the Year, and Nash, who picked up MJPL Players’ Player of the Year. Outstanding achievements from both.
It was also great for the team to receive recognition for all the work put in down at Somers, being awarded ClubMan of the Year. Although the trophy was handed to coaches Dave and Matt, it’s an award that belongs just as much to the parents. Getting the pitch up to standard all season has been a proper joint effort.
Here’s to 26/27 - a season where we aim to grow again and go even bigger.

Forest falcons 2-3 Melbourne Dynamo
Goals - Chris, Jackson
Here is what the boss had to say…
Really pleasing performance today. I said to the lads before the game that we want to challenge ourselves against the very best as preparation for next season, and the most important thing is learning from these tests so we’re ready to be competitive ahead of a big year.
If I could have drawn up the perfect learning game, it would have looked exactly like today. Playing up the hill in the first half is always tough, so going in 0–0 at the break was really encouraging. The first goal we conceded, which should have been disallowed for handball, was a lesson in itself, as we all stopped when we could have cleared it. The second was a poor one to give away, switching off after the first. And the third came from an over‑enthusiastic challenge in the box. As I said to the lads afterwards, if we react better to that first goal, we go on to win the game.
Well done to Chris for a fantastic finish, and to Jackson for his goal. And credit to Jackson and Dan for their assists.
A couple of special mentions too. Logan was excellent in goal, he commanded his box brilliantly and dealt with everything that came his way. And Tyler and Dillon, both new to the team, were outstanding. Great to see them playing with confidence and enjoying themselves.
Overall, I’m really pleased with the performance. The whole team were fantastic today.

Two of the Falcons lads, Dan and Jackson - County Cup winners last week, League Cup winners this week. Outstanding achievement from both of them. Well done, lads, fully deserved.

Two of the Falcons lads did themselves proud today, representing their school in the County Cup final at Boldmere FC. They played their part in a hard‑fought 3–2 win, and it was fully deserved.
Brilliant effort, lads - well done!

Forest Falcons 4-1 Dudley Town
Goals - Oshay 2, Dan, Alfie
This team continues to go from strength to strength.
Here is what the boss had to say…
Great performance today from the boys, extremely pleased with the effort they all put in.
Obviously disappointed to concede such a sloppy goal to go behind early on but that’s probably the only clear cut chance they’ve had and we’ve been punished for it, a gentle reminder that these things happen at the level we’re playing at if you switch off for even a split second.
But the boys responded brilliantly and we bossed the game for the duration and deservedly came away with a comfortable victory.
Well done to Dan, Alfie and Oshay (2) for their goals.
Definitely of the opinion the season is drawing to a close at the wrong time for us on both days. Something we’ve discussed at the end of the game today that we must carry this momentum in to next season. 2 wins and a draw last three and I’m sure you’ll all agree it’s a million miles away from where we started the season. Really pleasing to not only see how they have all developed individually, but also and more importantly how they’ve developed as a team.

Forest Falcons 1-0 Bilbrook
Here is what the boss had to say…
A dominant performance that really should have produced a bigger winning margin than the 1–0 scoreline suggests. From the first minute to the last, the lads were outstanding. They won every 50/50, controlled the game, and on another day would have put away far more than the one goal we did score.
Proud of them, as always. We were the better side throughout, and their mentality, especially refusing to get dragged into all the noise around them, deserves huge credit.
