MATCH RESULT | REDDITCH CONCEDE 🏏

Old Halesonians were awarded victory yesterday after Redditch conceded the fixture.

Elsewhere, league leaders Oldswinford suffered defeat, reducing the gap at the top of Division 7 North to just six points.

With three matches remaining, the lads are firmly in the hunt as we head into the final weeks of the season.

Everyone at Old Halesonians Cricket Club would like to congratulate Reece Andrews on passing 1,000 runs for the club.

Reece has reached the milestone in only 38 innings, scoring 1,030 runs at an excellent average of 32.19. His record includes five half-centuries, one century and a highest score of 119*.

It is an outstanding achievement and a fitting reward for the countless hours of hard work Reece has put into his batting behind the scenes.

His contribution goes far beyond the runs he scores. Reece brings experience, leadership and an excellent understanding of the game, regularly supporting his teammates and helping captain Jim Stevenson with decisions on matchdays.

Jim has also shared his personal tribute, highlighting Reece’s class, his important innings away at Cookley and the influence he continues to have on the entire side.

Congratulations, Reece. We’re delighted to have you as part of our journey—here’s to another 1,000 runs! 🔵🟡

The lads head into the weekend looking to build on last Saturday’s convincing victory and carry that momentum into another important fixture.

We now have live music booked in from midday through to 9pm, alongside inflatable fun, food vendors, other stalls and touch rugby for all ages.
