It’s been a blast once again. Thank you to everyone that supported us not just today. But throughout this year. We’re grateful that we can give something back to our fantastic members. The day is done and the night is still in full swing. It’s been an amazing day and always will be.

Professionals Day is just around the corner!

The ultra-popular event makes its annual return with plenty of exciting features throughout the day and night once again. On the golfing side, your day will consist of the following:

- Pairs Betterball Stableford competition

- A gift upon arrival

- A beer tent perfectly situation for you to visit twice in your round

- Spot prizes placed around the course

- The spectacular trick shot specialist, Ady at ACE Golf Challenge, will once again feature on the 14th hole

- A gin & vodka tent to welcome you off the course when you finish your round

However, as always, the fun doesn’t stop there!

The night will be just as fantastic as the day. Our very own PGA Professional, Mark Male will feature alongside his band, Madads, once again! They return with mastered classics and new songs that will get everyone on their feet throughout the night.

The night will also feature a BBQ menu complete with accompanying sides that will be hosted by our head chef, Spencer.

The tee sheet is now live to book on Club V1 and tickets for the night are available in the Professional Shop. Get your spot while you can. This is one not to be missed! It sells out every year.

Over the Spring & Summer at Stourbridge Golf Club, we are hosting the Girls Golf Rocks coaching sessions for the very first time!

Led by our Professional and Worcestershire PGA Captain, Chris Mole, the coaching will provide a great opportunity to gain entry to the world of Golf. Any girl interested in taking part will gain fantastic and valuable experience from a top Golf Professional while having a lot of fun!

A new season marks a new beginning!

On the back of a fantastic season, our very own Chris Mole has been elected captain for the Worcestershire PGA for the 2023/24 season! The defending Worcestershire PGA Strokeplay Champion had the honour bestowed upon him at the latest annual meeting.

Chris is looking forward to getting stuck into his new role. He will be hosting his Captains Day Pro Am later on this year and will proudly represent Stourbridge Golf Club and the county of Worcestershire for the next two years.

Mark, myself & the club are incredibly proud of you for this deserved honour, Chris. We can’t wait to support you throughout your tenure 👍👍

Jubilee Competition postponed. New date for 2nd round to be identified.

On Thursday, our very own Professional Chris Mole produced a fantastic victory in the Worcestershire PGA Strokeplay Championships at Fulford Heath.

Representing Stourbridge Golf Club, Chris shot an excellent 72 in tough, windy conditions and could only be matched by Simon Gabbitas of Hagley. Both players parred the first 5 holes of the playoff before Chris prevailed at the 6th extra hole to win the trophy for a 2nd time.

To get the victory in extraordinary weather and circumstances is a testament to Chris’ season. He has played exceptional golf throughout and has consistently been near the top of the leaderboard. We’re absolutely chuffed for Chris and wish him the absolute best for the remainder of the golfing season.
