🏏 End of Season Festival at Worcester CCC 🏏
Today we travelled down to Worcester CCC for an end-of-season festival hosted by Worcester, followed by the opportunity to watch England take on Ireland in the ODI. Hopefully, the girls who stayed on to watch enjoyed the experience as much as we did!
The festival consisted of five teams after one team unfortunately didn’t make it, with every team playing three games. Our games were against Worcester Street, Alvechurch and Swindon — and we managed to win all three! 🙌
With the ball, we bowled really well, with all 11 players getting the opportunity to bowl, and it was fantastic to see Georgia take her first wicket. A couple of the Worcester coaches mentioned to me afterwards how impressed they were with our bowling, but that was backed up by some excellent fielding too. We took some great catches and produced some brilliant run outs, including three in one game from Arrianne! 👏
With the bat, we scored 78 against Street, 56 against Alvechurch and around 60 against Swindon, all from just eight overs. Even better, we only lost six wickets across the entire day. There were plenty of great shots on show, including some huge sixes from Emilia, Katy and Aiyat! 💥🏏💛💙
Most importantly, it was fantastic to see the team spirit once again. The girls supported each other throughout the day, and the noise and encouragement from our travelling army of parents was brilliant as always. ❤️

A massive well done to every player who has contributed to what has been a fantastic season. You should all be incredibly proud of yourselves. 👏👏
And finally, a huge thank you to all the parents for the continued support, travelling, encouragement and everything you do behind the scenes. It genuinely makes such a difference.
