It’s been a while but I’m back getting crafty with it !
Old gas bottles turned into somthing useful.
I’ve been tasked with making industrial style taps and a shower for my friends who have a narrow boat and a camper van, pictures to follow..........
Tonight’s little creations. I had a load of old unusable gas bottles knocking about so I decided to make some planters for the garden, when I painted the yellow one I noticed how it looked very similar to the logo figures heads so it was rude not to make a Lego head planter 😀

So a wet and miserable Sunday made me hide in the work shop and have a play. I’ve knocked up this bird box out of some old scaffolding boards and made the copper roof from an old water tank. I coloured the wood using a blow torch then varnished it.

Guess who’s been a crafty bu**er this weekend. Just put the finishing touches to my up cycled car jack lamps on a lovely ash base. The jacks where supplied with classic vw’s such as the beetle. I’ve cleaned and lacquered them to preserve the lovely patina on them. I’m rather pleased with them
