Pickleball is more than just a game.
It’s movement. It’s connection. It’s having something in the diary to look forward to. It’s meeting new people, laughing for an hour and feeling part of something bigger.
This World Mental Health Day, we’re celebrating the role that sport and community can play in supporting our wellbeing.
Through social sessions like Pickle with Pals, Open Play and our wider community activities, we want to make it easier for people to get active, meet others and find that sense of connection.
We’re also incredibly grateful for everyone who already makes up the Courtside community. Whether you come along every week, welcome someone new onto court, stay for a coffee, bring a friend or simply help create the atmosphere we’re so proud of — you’re a huge part of what makes Courtside feel like a community.
And this is something we want to keep growing.
As we develop Courtside and expand our community work, we’d love to connect with more local groups, charities and organisations working with people who could benefit from accessible, social activity.
If that’s you — or you know someone we should be speaking to — please get in touch. We’d love to hear from you. 💛
Sometimes, it really is about more than pickleball.
