Here is a reminder not to compare your results to someone elses.

My calories vs my brothers during the same workout.....same time.....different results.

Calories burned aren’t 'one size fits all'. Factors like body weight, muscle mass, gender, heart rate and metabolism all play a role. What matters most is your effort and consistency.

Focus on your progress. Your journey is yours. 💪

Im very excited to deadlift again after a break due to a bulged disc in my lower back. Deadlifting is one of my favourite things to do in the gym & i've missed it.

The deadlift is powerful because it:
🔸Builds full-body strength (legs, back, core)
🔸Increases muscle mass
🔸Improves posture and core stability
🔸Boosts bone density (helps prevents osteoporosis)
🔸Improves functional fitness (mimics real life movements)

It is simple, efficient & very effective when done with good form 💪🏼

I get it! Seriously I do!

When you’re trying to lose weight in a calorie deficit staying consistent with your food choices can be difficult especially when you’re busy or out & about. Meal prep is important for the following reasons.

🔸It's convenient when busy.....Prepped meals are ready to grab when you’re rushing out, so you don’t need to rely on fast food or vending machines.
🔸Avoids impulse eating.....When you’re hungry and on the go, it’s easy to buy high-calorie snacks. Having a prepared meal prevents last-minute unhealthy choices.
🔸Makes calorie control easier.....Meals prepared in advance are portioned & planned, making it easier to stay within your calorie deficit.
🔸Keeps you consistent....Even on busy days, meal prep ensures you still have access to balanced, lower-calorie meals.
🔸Prevents overeating later.....Bringing prepped meals or snacks helps you eat regularly instead of getting overly hungry and overeating later in the day.
