The girls were fantastic all over the pitch, with some brilliant defending, passing and attacking throughout the game. Our dominance both on and off the ball meant that Irvinestown had very few chances to create opportunities.

Our U15 Flames continued their impressive D&D League campaign on Monday evening with an excellent victory over Tristar, keeping their unbeaten run going and maintaining their position at the top of the table.

What made the result even more impressive was that, due to players being on holidays, we travelled with just 11 players. With no options from the bench, every player had to give everything from start to finish, and they certainly did that!

The girls showed fantastic determination, resilience and quality to secure another important three points and score five goals against a strong Tristar side.

A five-star performance sees us book our place in the MFC Super Cup Final!

We were in control throughout, but Ballymena made us work for it. A quick-thinking corner from Zoe Green found Caoimhe Heron, who finished to give us a 1–0 half-time lead.

Just after the hour, Brooke Milligan grabbed her first before Heron struck from the right for her second. Milligan added another before Zahara Leckey rounded off the scoring with an excellent⚽️⚽️⚽️⚽️⚽️

Credit to Ballymena, who were great opponents and never stopped fighting until the final whistle. 👏

A special moment too as young McFadden made her Senior Ladies debut in goals 🧤

🏆 FINAL BOUND — our opponents will be confirmed on Monday night, with either Ballyclare or Bangor awaiting us in the final!
