Just a reminder that the society are holding their annual Stewarty Mitchell memorial open this Saturday 3rd Sept at the town course,tee off is from 8.30-3.00,its a 4 club challenge (1 club must be a putter) entry fee is £20 per person £10 of that goes to leukemia research (please support),then theres a disco & raffle in the bar from 8 o'clock onwards everyone welcome,could all society members please remember to bring a prize for the raffle.Thanks for your support for the charity.

Would just like to wish our new captain Mark McDonald all the best for the incoming year,and just to remind members our first outing of the year is at Ballyclare this Sunday 3rd July,buses leaving the bar at 9am sharp,good luck to one and all.

Derek Harbinson's Captain's day.A great weekend was had by all,this is only some of the photos as some of them were unpublishable lol,the results are as follows,1st place with a great score of 37pts on a very testing day was the ever steady David McGregor,2nd a very happy Mark McDonald 3rd and in the frame for the 3d year running David (the big easy) McClements,best front nine David Hutchinson,best back nine David Mcgregor,nearest the pin and best par 3s Rusty (lucky balls) Miller,longest drive David Mcgregor,golfer of the year DeeDee Campbell,clubman of the year Kenny moore,the outgoing Captain made a fine speech lol then he passed on the tee shirt to the incoming Captain Mr Leo (chippy) Cunning and I'am sure will do a very fine job
Congratulations to David Hutchinson on getting the Roost bar golf society's first hole in one at Castlerock bann course today,well done wee man 😀😀😀
