The first cricket match played on the Swans Nest Lane ground took place on Saturday June 2nd 1894 between Stratford 1st XI and Flowers Brewery, meaning that Stratford-upon-Avon Cricket Club has played at the same venue for almost 120 years. Tree lined and overlooked by the Royal Shakespeare Theatre, it is one of the most picturesque grounds in the region, and has played host to a number of Warwick

Warwickshire won the toss and have decided to bat first. Warwickshire are currently 12-0.

Stratford Cricket Club will host Warwickshire County Cricket Club vs Gloucestershire Cricket U18s in a three day game from Tuesday 25th August - Thursday 27th August.
Food and bar will be open and we look forward to welcoming some fantastic cricket in the coming days. 🏏

Stratford Upon Avon CC are seeking applications for a new specialist head of cricket grounds.
We are looking for ambitious, qualified and experienced individuals or contractors to apply for this exciting role at one of the best cricket grounds in the country.
