ASHTANGA YOGA
MYSORE STYLE - ASSISTED SELF PRACTICE
SATURDAY 27TH JUNE
We’re delighted to welcome Roberta Giannotti to teach a one-day workshop at the River Shala this June.
Roberta is the founder of Ashtanga Yoga Here in Archway, London, and is widely regarded as one of London’s most experienced and respected Ashtanga teachers, having taught since 1998. She is authorised Level 2 by Sri K. Pattabhi Jois and has worked closely with Peter Sanson, assisting during his London workshops over many years.
Roberta is known for her depth of knowledge and understanding of Ashtanga Yoga, as well as the grounded, supportive, and open-hearted presence she brings to the room. Her teaching creates space for practitioners to deepen their practice with confidence, sensitivity, and care.
We first met Roberta over ten years ago at a workshop for Peter Sanson she was hosting and felt an immediate connection with them both. It was a real honour to have Roberta and Peter open the River Shala five years ago, and we continue to feel deeply grateful for their friendship and support.
This workshop is open to anyone with some experience of the Mysore-style self-practice method. The day will consist of Mysore self practice followed by a talk/Q&A with Roberta.
Start times TBC
Price - £45
