Roxburgh Badminton Club is piloting an adult (18+) Thursday No Strings Play session at Active Lifestyles Stroud from September 10th, 8-10pm, for 12 weeks. Sessions will be £7.50 and can be booked on a weekly basis via an app. If you are interested, or would like more info, please get in touch 🏸

We have limited spaces available on our final Juniors Summer Badminton Bootcamp sessions, kindly supported by BADMINTON England. The sessions will run 9.30-12 on Saturday 22nd August and 9-11.30 on Sunday 23rd August for juniors aged between 12 and 17, of any ability. They can be booked separately and will take place at Thomas Keble School in Eastcombe, Stroud. 🏸

Roxburgh Badminton Club is running a series of Summer Badminton Bootcamp sessions for juniors, aged 12-17, at Thomas Keble School. Thanks to funding from BADMINTON England, we have been able to keep prices low. If your child is interested in take part, get in touch asap as we have limited court space available! 🏸🤾‍♀️

Roxburgh Badminton Club wanted to honour club member Kev Pride who sadly passed away last year with an award in his name.

The Roxburgh Pride Award helps us remember a member who was kind, passionate and will be dearly missed by all of us.

Congratulations to Mark S for winning the Roxburgh Pride Award 2026 and Tim for winning the Roxburgh Most Improved Player Award 2026! Kev's family joined us to present the awards at club night and shared their happy memories of Kev and his love for badminton.

Last weekend we enjoyed our biggest ever outing to the All England Open (15 of us!). Almost every match went to 3 and the session lasted over 6 hours 😂 We were ready for the big meal that followed, then drinks, darts and shuffleboard. Our adult and junior clubs are both full at the moment, but we hope to have the court space to expand soon, so watch this space for further news!

Our Christmas meal at The Stroud Hotel, followed by drinks at Holy Water. After 3 embarrassing attempts at a group selfie we finally gave up and asked a waiter.

We currently have 2 mens teams, 1 ladies and 1 mixed, plus a juniors club. If you’re interested in getting involved please get in touch!
