Thruxton Race Report 🏁

Another big learning point for our small team from Sunny Suffolk. Friday testing and quali was tough without a teammate to work with for a slipstream around a very fast circuit meaning we started the races a bit further back than hoped!

Race 1: Started 21st and had some good battles up to around 17/18th but then had the rear left tyre delaminate making the car very tail happy and scrubbed loads of speed off around the back section meaning we lost a lot of time each lap! We finished 20th.

Race 2: Started 20th had a good first half of the race making up a good few places but our bad luck continued when the water pump pulley failed which seemed to zap the power and we dropped back down to 21st where we finished.

Race 3: (As seen live on ITV4) was incredible! I had a rubbish start but had some good battles and seemed to have a lot of speed. I managed to get up to 13th and was trying to work with some other drivers to catch the top 10 group but everyone just wanted to battle for position and I ended up worse off dropping of that small group and then having to battle very hard over the last few laps to keep 16th!

Overall another amazing weekend! Thank you to everyone that came and helped and all the companies that have got us to the grid! We are looking forward to Donnington 🏁

Snetterton Race Report✅

What can I say? What an incredible experience racing my little mini at a TOCA event live on ITV4! First of all thank you everyone that has got us this far. A special thanks to & for being part of our journey for 10 years now!! And of course for managing the team, for spanning, Steven Groom for helping with technical advice, & for helping me vlog and .academyofficial for showing massive support.

Qualifying was not the one for us this weekend. A simple error costs us! We didn’t register our tyre correctly meaning we got disqualified and had to start race 1 and 3 from 24th (the back of the grid).

Race 1 went well, made some progress up to 20th after some good hard battles. Did get some damage but nothing we can’t fix.

Race 2 was the best race of the weekend. The car felt really good and I managed to finish 15th after again some close battles.

Race 3 could’ve been better. Struggled with the track temperature and ended up getting a 5 second penalty for track limits. Then was involved in an incident on the last corner of the last lap that pushed us back 3 places. Finished 20th.

Post race we had a grid walk of the touring cars ready for their 3rd race of the day. Look at those motors 😍

On to Wales next, the car is well under way getting prepared. 💪
