Please join us in a belated welcome to our new Head Coach and Assistant Head Coach - Coach Kris and Coach Whythe.
Coach Kris brings a wealth of international experience to the Heathrow Hurricanes. Coach Kris began his football journey in his native Bahamas, earning him a move to Indiana, USA, securing a scholarship to play collegiate football at Taylor University.
Transitioning from the field to the sidelines, Coach Kris spent several years developing the game back in the Bahamas, coaching across both flag and contact football.
His international reputation also earned him exclusive guest-coaching appearances at the University of Western Ontario, one of Canada’s premier university football programs.
As well as securing a position as coach for the IFAF USA vs the World international series.
Now based in the UK, Coach Kris brings his deep knowledge here to South West London after a period coaching the receivers at Greenwich University. His unique experience and winning persona make him an invaluable asset to the Hurricanes' ambitions.

Coach Whythe, having learnt the game at Leeds Uni Celtics, swapped degrees and joined the Gloucester Uni Gladiators, helping get their team back into the Uni League.
After leaving university he joined the Sussex Thunder, playing for 10 years and at the same time started full time coaching, setting up the Sussex Uni Saxons team.
"I'm excited to join the club and help it grow from it's current dedicated core of players and to support the new coaching team develop it's identity.
Over the last 20 years I've played and coached alongside some amazing people in Britball, and all I want to do is see the game grow through investment in passionate players and coaches."
