Beginner golfer, keeping it simple

When coaching I try to keep to no more than 3 points for a golfer to focus on. It doesn’t matter the standard, beginner to pro, keep the instruction simple so the golfer knows and has a clear plan what to practice

Talking about using the right palm as a reference to use to help understand feel where the club face is and it it is open or closed

All you need is a basket and an alignment stick to help you hit up on the ball with your driver

I will say you don’t have to hit up with your driver, in face some of the best players in the world hit slightly down with the driver. But this is because they have the club head speed to do so

I would encourage most handicap golfers to hit up into the ball
