After much consideration, we’re saddened to announce that Farringdon Detached FC Men’s Saturday Team have Folded .
This isn’t something we ever wanted to say, but unfortunately the time has come to close this chapter.
We want to take a moment to say a massive thank you to everyone who has been part of the journey. To our players past and present who gave everything on the pitch, to the coaches and volunteers who worked tirelessly behind the scenes, and to our loyal supporters who stood by us week in, week out — rain or shine.
A special thank you goes to our sponsors for your continued backing and belief in the club. Your support has meant so much and helped keep things going for as long as we could.
Football is about more than just results — it’s about community, friendships, and memories. And we’ve shared plenty of those together over the years that we’ll never forget.
This may be the end for the Saturday men’s side, but the spirit of Farringdon Detached will always remain.

Today’s team for semi final

After a disappointing result on Tuesday night the Farra lads are looking to make it to Cup final with an away Semi Final at South Moor in The Shipowners Cup this Saturday

Game played Tuesday night in a Very Good entertaining first half with Farringdon taking a early lead with a Good penalty from Nikey but Willington came back quickly to equalize, It stayed like this until half- time ,
Second half Farringdon were done with 3 x balls over the top to concede and fall 1-4 behind in a scoreline they Deserved better from ,
Farringdon did pull another goal back with a well taken finish by Morris , Man of Match went to the Pensioner Stephen Davison 😜

Match Day The lads are back in action tonight night at Home v Willington in a tough game looking to get our 3rd Win in a row to continue our Great Form All support Appreciated

The Farra lads battled away today for back to back Wins against a Ever Improving Annfield Plain , We battled away and took a Good first half 2-0 lead with goals from a Good finish by Hewitt and a Brilliant 30 yard lob from Devlin to come off at half time with a 2-0 lead ,
Second half we gave away a couple of sloppy goals to make it 2-2 but with just over 10 minutes to play Farra Won the game with a Great header from Burlinson , Joint Man of Match went to Logan Robinson & Jay Martin
