🧤 NEW GOALKEEPER WANTED! 🧤

Due to our current keeper moving away for family commitments, we have a rare opening for an Under 9 (School Year 4) Goalkeeper to join our fantastic team!

We are a friendly, active team, who are currently having a brilliant season, and we’d love to find a new pair of safe hands to join the team.

Training Details:

📍 Silksworth 3G Pitches, Sunderland

📅 Mondays 6-7: Club Training (Includes specialist GK coaching!)

📅 Thursdays (5-6): Team Training

Match Details:

📍 Downhill Hub, Sunderland

📅 Saturdays: League Matches (9:40 kick off)

U9⚪️

Pro Motiv8 Open level runners up

After losing the first group game the boys dusted themselves down and went unbeaten for rest of tournament and despite beating eventual champions Wallsend BC yellows in group stages, they narrowly lost out in the final on penalties after a 1-1 draw in normal time

A cruel way to go out in a final but the lads have done remarkably well and will come back stronger for the next one

U11 Pro-Motiv Open Tournament Winners 🏆

On the back of winning the Middlesbrough FC Foundation Open tournament only 3 days ago, the boys were at it again today, going for gold again in a tournament stacked with some top opposition!

A testament to the squad, wiping themselves down after their Christmas break to compete and win their two high level tournaments they’ve entered

The boys beat the teams who finished above them in the group stage and ran away 3-0 winners in the end against top opposition Cramlington Juniors Reds

Well done to the coach, squad and parents for another fantastic day of successful football👏

U11 Open tournament winners 🏆

The lads have cleaned up today and won the open level tournament hosted by Middlesbrough FC foundation. Unbeaten all day and only conceded 1 goal all tournament.

Going onto the final to play a very strong district side, the lads in blue and white won 1-0 with a wonder goal produced!. A fantastic achievement from the full team

Coach Steve quoted, “We were a force all day, and this was like receiving another Christmas gift, the boys were unbelievable”

U9🔵🏆

The lads have won the u9 tournament at Downhill hub with only 7 players. A dramatic semi final penalty shoot out and then onto the final to take home the silverware. A great day for them all and one to remember

Coach Glenn quoted, “The boys were true sportsmen throughout the day. Well done Leon FC Blues – a fantastic end to 2025 and exactly what they needed”

The lads have came out victorious after a cold morning of football at Washington hub and won the top cup at the HQH tournament. A great final battled out with two top teams, which could have went either way. Fantastic effort lads 👏
