Swe boys back in action this morning against a washington team full of confidence after some good wins under their belt, washington took an early lead but that seemed to wake the swe lads up and they respond almost immediately with a well worked goal. From then on, it was swe doing all the pressing and played some of their most impressive football this season washington had a good chance before the break from a free kick but our keeper louis pulled off a fantastic save to go into half time with swe leading 4 - 1 the second half washington did come out battling but swe lads were to strong and pressed on to score another 4 goals to make it a 8 - 1 win for the lads keeping up there unbeaten record and stitting at the top of the prem 6 points clear. Special mention to our man of the match and new signing Harry Alcock who put in a brilliant performance 👏 goals to from Mitchell Underwood x2, Noah Little x2, Liam Wood x2, Otis Sumner Green and Jaxson Walton well done boys great team performance 👏

Sunderland westend back in action against a team in the bottom half of the table. Swe started as expected with some crisp passing from the boys, which would make any coaches proud. Some of the football played was outstanding one touch and the movement from the sunderland westend players was something special to watch, with 7 exceptional team goals scored today from what the coaches can say is a brilliant team performance 👏 to keep the sunderland westend boys at the top of the Premier league well done another clean sheet. All our boys were men of the match today simply because of how they performed as a team and produced some of the best football seen from an under9s team. Today, sunderland westend under9s were back in action at Ford Hub to play a hebburn barca team sitting at the wrong end of the table, expections were high that we would come out victorious to the boys' credit, they came out fired up! With our centre half, Archie Walk got the ball rolling with a wonderful long strike to beat the hebburn keeper. From then on, it was one way traffic and with some crisp passing from the boys our midfield maestro Liam wood banged in the second he then went on to score another 2 goals, the boys stuck to the game plan of keeping the ball and scored some more brilliant worked goals with Mitchell Underwood (2), Noah Little (2) Finn Tearney (1) Jude Dodds (2) and special mention to our man of the match and stand in keeper Otis Sumner who after a long stint in goal came out for the remainder 10 mins to get on the goal sheet himself! Well done today lads some brilliant football played and excellent all round team performance 👏 sunderland westend continue to sit at the top of the Premier league going undefeated so far this season! Sunderland westend back in action today at ford hub in wet and cold 🥶 conditions against Birtley Town, but that did not stop a team on top starting the game well with some pinpoint passing. The management decided to set the team up slightly differently today with new signing Archie Walk controling the back line sunderland westend started on the front foot and the continuous pressure paid off with sunderland westend taking the lead and from then on totally dominainting the game! In the end, the game finished 8 nil to sunderland westend with our midfield maestro Liam wood scoring 4 goals and coming away with the man of the match award 👏 👌some brilliant football played today from a team brimming from confidence well done to all the boys today and thank you to all the parents who as always plays there part with continuous support for the team 👏 👍

Sunderland westend back in action this morning in the Russell Foster Premier against Hetton Juve, swe started off the game slow and not taking chances but credit to the Juve keeper who pulled off some brilliant saves 👏 swe eventually took a one nil lead with some excellent one two passing to create the opportunity to finally put it past the keeper, Juve to there credit came back to level the game 1-1 swe were not in full flow but managed to score another 2 goals to take it to 3-1 which was the score at half time. Swe came out the second half on fire 🔥 and scored a wonderful worked goal in a matter of seconds from then on the boys put the pressure on the Juve team and were in full flow scoring another 4 goals to finish the game at 8-1. Special mention to our captain who scored and was named man of the match on his final game for swe well done Leo Owens we wish you all the best mate on your next chapter of your football career in Australia 🇦🇺 well done to all the boys today excellent team effort 👌.
