Taylor Dixon Racing - TD43

Headed over to the teams home track at KNE - Karting North East Warden Law last weekend for round 5 of the National Kart Cup Championship.

Decent pace Friday and Saturday and looked forward to qualifying Saturday afternoon.

Unfortunately the piston let go after 1 lap of qualifying leaving me P38 out of 53 drivers.

Heat 1 P20-P15
Heat 2 P19-P6 ( P2 after penalties)
Super Heat P8-P6
Final P12-P9 ( P8 after penalties)

Overall a good recovery and decent points for the championship. Currently sitting P8 in the championship with one round remaining.

RD4 of the NKC Championship last weekend was held at shennington and another new track ticked off the list.

Heat 1 - P5-P4
Heat 2 - P30-P12
Heat 3 - P12-P10 ( P14 after bumper penalty)
Final - P13-P31

Made good progress through the heats but off the start in the final 2 drivers came together and we got collected putting us in the barrier. Got going and finished the race but with a bent axle and other damage we couldn't make any ground back up.

Progress in the heats and issues in the all finals seems to how it's gone this year but we'll go again at Warden Law next round.

Round 3 of the NKC Championship at Whilton Mill.

Qualification - P7 in group ( P13 overall )
Heat 1 - P7-P5
Heat 2 - P7-P7
Superheat P5-P7
A-Final P10-P12

Had a few issues over the weekend but happy to come away with a decent haul of points for the championship.

A weekend of what could of been at NKC Championship RD2 at Rowrah. Somehow lost 1.5 kgs overnight after coming off track at 163.5 kgs Fri / Sat to come in underweight for the first time ever in 9 years of karting.

Heat 1 - P1-P2 ( DQ'D underweight)

Heat 2 - P19-P9

Heat 3 - P27-P25 ( up to P17 going onto lap 5 but got smashed off passing a slower driver, one of the challenges of mixed grids.)

B final - P9-P2

A final - P32-P14.

Not the result we were hoping for after being top 4 overall in of all Saturday timed practice sessions but we learn and move on to Whilton Mill next round.

First race of 2025 season under the belt at Cumbria Kart Racing Club, Rowrah for round 1 of the Spring series.

Really enjoyed the weekend. We were pressured and pushed hard in both heats and the final by some great drivers so was happy to come away with the win.
