The Facebook generation. Completely oblivious to the facts or what is actually going to be fenced off. Some might say click bait. The football pitch is to be fenced off with integrated changing facilities. Plans are in place to relocate the old goal posts to a new location on the recreational field. This was a request from Seaham Parkside FC to the council as we grew up playing football on the field ourselves. We as a football club would have no need to fence off the playing field if all the responsible dog walker's picked up there mess. We as a football club are trying to better the Parkside community with multiple teams representing Seaham Parkside at all levels in near future. For once a group of people have tried to improve facilities in the area without self gain or monetary reward. Any objection to the fencing proposal would be short sighted and detrimental to future generations of footballers Have most people commented even grew up on the Parkside estate or frequented the recreational field on a regular basis. There are far bigger issue going on in Parkside and Seaham as a whole than a fence being erected around a football pitch. Pot calling the kettle black might be more appropriated. Just say NO should be a far bigger campaign if everyone wants the world to be a better place for all our children UTP
