Summer's nearly here, and our camps are already booking up fast.

We're running two camps right through the holidays — our Beach Camp down at the coast and our Football Camp at Monkwearmouth Academy. Both are £15 a day, both are full of sport, games and proper fun, and both are open to book now.
The Beach Camp especially is going quickly, so if your kids fancy it, don't leave it too late..

We've also kept the things that make life easier when you're working through the summer. Early drop-off with our Sunrise Club and late pick-up with our Sunset Club are both free, so you can fit camp around your day instead of the other way round.

Flag football is here, and it starts this Monday. If you've got a young person aged 10 and over who fancies trying something new — or one of our footballers after a bit of extra preseason training — come and give it a go.
It's fast, fun and completely non-contact, and you don't need any experience to get stuck in. One of the fastest growing sports in the UK right now. Just turn up, have a go and get ready for game day. Mondays 5–6pm at Monkwearmouth Academy. Book free at northeastsport.as.me/americanflag.

A few parents have asked: if camps are photo-free, why do we still ask for photographic consent when you book?

Simple answer — we don't take photos at camps, and that won't change. But very occasionally there's a press moment, like a funding announcement or a local paper story, where a photo might be taken with everyone's full knowledge and agreement. The consent question on the booking form covers those rare, planned occasions only.

Social media is full of children's photos posted for likes and shares. We've decided ours won't be. Kids come to camp to play, not to perform. Young people first.

North East Sport Holiday. Every child booked onto a camp gets the option of a free breakfast and a late pick-up — no extra cost, no surprise bills.
