40th Anniversary Celebrations 🍾

Yesterday our club travelled to Watanabe Kai Judo Club in Carlisle to celebrate their 40th year! It was a pleasure to have been invited and to make the trip. Sensei's & Derek showcased a fantastic host of both standing & groundwork techniques from across the the clubs 40yr. Which from the looks on (mostly) everyone's faces, enjoyed 😄.

Can't wait to go back again and have another collab

It was amazing to have Sensei Davide from Italy attend and take our class on Wednesday. We really must organise going over to his!

Day President's Course 2026

Massive congratulations to all those who attended the weekend and today gained a grade or who just turned up to have amazing fun.

Thank you to all the coaches in all roles and capacities who aided and contributed to the course being a success.

Judo Italiano 🇮🇹

It was fantastic to hoast our Judo friends and Sensei Davide Rose from Italy. Who came back again to take part in our class and take a session themselves.

Congratulations were in order also, as we were able to award Elis his Senior Green Belt 👏.
