It's rare I post about myself but I thought hayho...

September 1986, the date on my very first martial arts membership.

Meaning this month I celebrate 40 years of martial arts!

Looking at these five photos from 1986, 1996, 2006, 2016 and 2026, I can’t quite believe how quickly those years have gone... im so very old lol

Martial arts has been such a huge part of my life. It’s taken me through many different stages, challenges, friendships and experiences, eventually leading me to create Adaptive Combat Bujutsu, and later KMMA.

What means the most to me now isn’t the belts, certificates or achievements, but the people I’ve met, the lessons I’ve learned and the students I’ve had the privilege of teaching along the way.
I’m proud of the journey, but even more grateful for it.

40 years later, I’m still a student at heart, still learning, still training and still enjoying the journey.

Here’s to the next 40 years lol

Here at KMMA, our year runs for 48 weeks out of 52. Giving its staff 2 weeks in summer and 2 weeks at Chrismas for holidays and/or academy maintenance.

For the 7th year running, we have stayed open during the summer, giving everyone 2 weeks of training for free 😀

We would like to thank everyone of our student and their parents for their continued support, helping us provide the best self-defense classes around!

On the 18th of November we will have been open for 8 yrs!! Teaching the Modern Martial Art of Adaptive Combat Bujutsu ONLY !
