It's time for a reintroduction, now that a few more people have found me!

My name's Emily, I'm a dancer, writer and teacher (and the founder director of ) . I launched Dance Eternal in September '25 with the intention of focusing on workshops in healing and sacred dance (alongside my job as a ballet teacher), but already this little venture has led me along new (and old!) paths. I have come to realise that my path is a creative one, and that much of my own inspiration is rooted (!) in the natural world 🌿 So this is to say - welcome! Join with me on a path into an enchanted landscape, and let's together fill it with creativity and magic ✨✨ (and of course dancing!)

In February the earth begins to wake up again, and experience the first stirrings of spring, so it is fitting that I will be hosting a workshop on the heart chakra, traditionally associated with the colour green 💚

Happy New Year! I'm up and about again!

The virus and resulting chest infection put paid to my Christmas shuffle challenge, but what I learnt was that ALL dancing is beneficial and joyful, and that it's never too late to try new things! I'm sure I'll come back to it.

Lots of new things coming for 2026, but to start us off we have two options for Chakradance workshops:

I am fortunate to have studied the work of Isadora Duncan with the amazing 3rd generation Duncan expert Barbara Kane, and I am fascinated by the links between the modern day healing modality that is Chakradance, and the dance technique developed by Isadora over a century ago.
