We’re pleased to confirm that there will be no subscription increase this year.
Although the majority of our venues have increased their prices for 2026, and we’ve also faced rising costs for insurance, equipment, and operational extras, we’ve made the decision to absorb those increases rather than pass them on to you.
We also continue to pay all of our fantastic coaches double, or at least 30% above minimum wage, because we believe in rewarding quality coaching and keeping great people.
Football Club for Kids started as a hobby project and has grown into the club it is today — but our focus has always been, and will always be, children first. Football is a passion project for us, not a profit-driven one, and we believe providing affordable, high-quality coaching is more important than anything else.
Here’s what you always get with us:

✅ 3 age groups to choose from
✅ 6 venues across the area
✅ No joining fee – simple monthly plan

Grassroots football is supposed to be the most accessible sport in the country.
But many parents are now paying for:
⚽ Monthly subs
⚽ Kits and training wear
⚽ New boots every season
⚽ Tournament fees
⚽ Travel costs
For some families, the total can easily reach hundreds of pounds a year.
Clubs will say costs have gone up — pitch hire, leagues, referees, equipment.
But others worry that kids from lower-income families are being priced out of the game.
So here’s the big question for grassroots football…
💷 Are subs becoming too expensive?
Or are clubs simply charging what they need to survive?
