As we move towards this New Moon, the energy may feel a little heightened, stirred, or unsettled.
At this time of year, nature is full of movement. Blossom is falling, fruit is beginning to form, bees are gathering, and the green world is growing quickly.
It can be beautiful.
It can also remind us how much change is happening beneath the surface.
This week, a small iris in my garden caught my attention. It had been transplanted from my mum and dad’s garden next door — uprooted, disturbed, and asked to find itself again in new ground.
And here it is now: small, steady, perfectly formed, and blooming in her own time.
It felt like a quiet teaching.
In yoga, we keep returning to the body, the breath, and the ground beneath us. We practise softening what is tense, releasing what we no longer need to hold, and coming back to centre.
These simple practices can support us when life feels fast, uncertain, or full of change.
I’ve written a new blog reflecting on this New Moon, the turning of the season, Beltane, nature as our guide, and how we stay rooted as life moves forward.
You’ll also find links to my May New Moon Companion and my free Step Back • Tune Out • Drop In pause practices.
And this Saturday, I’m holding Rest, Release, Restore — an afternoon of gentle yoga, rest, sound, and deep relaxation.
There are currently 2 spaces left, and it feels like a very timely space for this New Moon weekend.

A beautiful thank you to those who shared the Spring Equinox workshop with me yesterday.
Spending time creating balance within ourselves and giving space for the body, breath, mind and spirit to come into union, felt especially meaningful.
Closing with the mandala and the offering of love and healing, out into the world was a beautiful way to complete the morning, particularly at a time when it feels so needed. ✨💖🙏🕯️✨

Hello lovely people, I hope you are enjoying your Friday.
Today is a special day in the turning of the Wheel of the Year, - The Spring Equinox. A point of stillness and balance.
Across the natural world this point acts as a hinge. Light and darkness meet. Winter loosens its grip, Spring gathers strength and new life prepares to emerge.
Take a look outside for a moment... Nature isn't rushing this change.
We too can take our cues from nature. Taking a moment or two to bring our attention back to the rhythms that support steadiness.
To pause, notice, breathe. To notice where life feels balanced and where small adjustments may bring us greater ease.
If you'd like to join me tomorrow and share some time to slow down, tune in, and gently realign your body, mind, and spirit through yoga, ritual, symbolism, and seasonal reflection there are a few spaces left in my Spring Equinox workshop tomorrow.
Message me if you’d like to join or follow the link in the comments below.

Hello my lovely,
It's pretty clear that many of us are feeling the intensity of the world right now.
The constant flow of information moves quickly through our days and through the nervous system.
One of the simplest things we can do in times like this is to pause...
Step Back -from the noise, Tune Out -of the story & Drop Back into ourselves. 😊
Over the coming weeks I’ll be sharing a series of small pause practices like this one. 👇
Each is an invitation to slow the pace for a moment, - to notice, breathe, and return to your own centre.
You may find that even a few minutes of stepping back gently changes the rhythm of your day.
Sometimes the smallest pauses are the ones that bring us back to ourselves.
With much love. Alison .x.

Hello my lovely,
Many people are feeling the intensity of the world right now.
The pace of daily life often carries a lot through the nervous system - constant information, responsibilities, and decision-making.
The Spring Equinox offers a natural moment in the year to pause and return to balance.
On Saturday 21st March (10am–1pm) I’m offering a Spring Equinox Yoga Workshop exploring balance through the chakra system — the body’s energy centres that support physical, emotional, and mental wellbeing.
Together we’ll spend the morning in practices that help the body settle and rebalance, including:
• mindful yoga and gentle movement
• breathwork that supports nervous system regulation
• simple energy practices connected to the chakras
• sound and vibration
• guided visualisation
• deep rest and integration
The practices are steady, accessible, and suitable for all levels of experience.
The Equinox marks a moment in the year when day and night stand in equal balance. It is a powerful seasonal threshold and a supportive time to bring attention back to your own inner balance as spring begins to unfold.
Saturday 21st March
10am – 1pm

Today the Moon enters its new phase, and this one arrives alongside a solar eclipse and the turning of the Chinese New Year.
You might notice the atmosphere feels concentrated. Perhaps even pressurised.
This New Moon feels different. It isn’t asking for action. It’s asking for steadiness.
To settle into the stillness before motion begins and to remain centred while momentum gathers.
Not gripping the reins.
Not being pulled.
But steady in the seat.
Nothing needs to rush.
If this moment feels intense, you’re not imagining it. These are converging cycles and they ask for grounding rather than force.
I’ve created a series of gentle lunar companions to support reflection and embodied steadiness through the year. You’ll find the link in the comments if you’d like to explore.
And whether you do or not…
May this New Moon bring quiet clarity,
and the kind of grounded strength that moves without strain.

A heartfelt thank you to everyone who gathered with me this weekend for Imbolc – Festival of Awakening at the Full Moon.
We moved, rested, reflected, planted seeds, and honoured this quiet threshold between winter and spring, a time when life begins to stir beneath the surface, even if nothing is yet visible.
There was something deeply grounding about working with the elements, and remembering that growth begins with rooting, not rushing.
I’m so grateful for the presence, openness, and care that each person brought into the space. May what was planted, in the body, the heart, or the soil, continue to be tended gently in its own time.
Imbolc blessings to all 🙏🥰

On my dog walk today I noticed acorns beginning to sprout - roots anchoring first, before anything reaches for the light.
It felt very aligned with Imbolc, and with the quiet work many of us are doing beneath the surface right now.
I’m offering a small Imbolc yoga & ritual morning locally this Saturday, rooted in reflection, grounding and community, and aligned with the Full Moon.
Sharing gently here in case it resonates.

Festival of Awakening at the Full Moon. Imbolc, Yoga & Ritual Morning.
As we approach Imbolc, the midpoint between winter and spring, I’m offering a gentle, grounding morning of yoga, ritual and reflection aligned with both the seasonal festival and the Snow Full Moon.
Imbolc is a time when life begins to stir beneath the surface. Paired with the Full Moon, it invites introspection, cleansing, and preparation for what’s ready to grow.
On a recent walk, I was reminded how nothing in nature awakens alone, the bulbs rise in clusters, trees form living communities, even those that stand apart are connected beneath the earth. This workshop is an invitation to gather in that same spirit of connection and support.
* Saturday 31st January | 10am–1pm
* Yoga, breath, ritual, meditation, sound & deep rest
* Suitable for all levels, no prior experience needed
A calm, nourishing space to slow down, release what’s no longer needed, and reconnect with your inner flame, -held in community.
If this resonates, you’re very welcome to join us.
