After a long journey, we can confirm that Boldmere Falcons AFA teams will be folding with immediate effect.

This decision has not been easy, but we want to thank every player, coach, volunteer, supporter and sponsor who has been part of the journey over the 2 years. The memories, friendships and moments shared as a team will always remain.

To everyone who pulled on the shirt and represented the badge with pride โ€” thank you.

What a ******* performance from the Boldmere boys๐Ÿคฉ

We started very slowly allowing Polesworth to have the ball and a few half chances, but slowly but surely we grew into the game and getting the first goal was crucial.

A poor pass from the Polesworth defender allowed Raeon Mignott to run through and effortlessly slot past the keeper for 1-0. We continued to step up our game and took control until the half with a good few half chances to make it 2-0 but we went into HT at 1-0.

The second half we knew Polesworth would come at us and they did with everything creating some good chances but Michael and the defence stood strong gaining confidence from every block, tackle and clearance.

Then steps up our Captain Ellis Jones, a long ball not dealt with by the 2 Polesworth defenders, he shrugs off the one to run through and again effortlessly slot past the keeper to make it 2-0. Huge moment in the game.

Polesworth threw everything at us but we stood strong and defended superbly as a team, with subs coming on and stepping up when counted on.

A thoroughly deserved victory and our name rightly goes onto The Junior Cup Trophy.

The talking is done โ€” now itโ€™s time to deliver.

Tonight, the lads take to the pitch with the opportunity to secure the clubโ€™s first piece of silverware. Standing in our way are Polesworth North Warwick B โ€” a side we know well after a 4-0 victory and a narrow 3-2 defeat in the league this season.

This has been a tremendous second season for the group, competing in a new division and showing real progress throughout. One final push now could cap it all off in the best way possible.

Your support matters. We need you there, loud and proud, as the 12th man โ€” backing Harry and the team from the first whistle to the last.

A convincing victory against a side that hardly troubled us. With football being the winner in the game overall.

Ellis and Callumโ€™s goals were both goals from corners with Ellis heading into the top corner and Callum onto a cushioned ball by Torres at the back post.

Michael was called into the action for the only time in the game with a penalty save before the half, a great save to keep the score 2-0 at HT.

Changes were made and we continued to create chances when finally Torres persistence got his deserved goal after a great ball across and Rae poking into his path for 3-0.

Thatโ€™s our last fixture before our final Tuesday. Make sure you get down to support the boys and be our 12th man.

A great response this evening against a strong AFC Bromsgrove side. We started well with lots of chances coming down the right and should have took an early lead but the game remained 0-0.

The first goal came from great work down the left with a superb ball down the line from Rikki, where JP rinses the full back to squad across for Ade for 1-0. The 2nd followed a few minutes after with a free-kick. Jordan with a delicious ball into the box and our main man Ellis heading home for 2-0.

Boldmere controlled large parts of the first half and the only chance for AFC Bromsgrove was well wide. HT 2-0.

The second half continued in the same vein with the attackers a real threat, midfield controlling the game & the defence solid as a rock.

The 3rd was a great team goal with a 1-2 with Ade & Jordan, where Ade returns the favour this time for a ball across for JP to tap home, 3-0.

AFC Bromsgrove were flat but a few minutes of half chances, allowed them to create a chance at goal which was blocked and fell to the striker who bounced it past Jordan whoโ€™s handball gave them a lifeline, slotted home for 3-1.

The game continued but not too much goal action except 2 chances for Ellis. The first a stonewall penalty which wasnโ€™t awarded & the second a tamed effort at the keeper.

Changes were made with Deakon, Gabriel, Torres, Harry & Sam coming on. Nothing changed and the workrate remained solid. Controlling the game.

The final goal comes from some great work from Deakon down the right who squares across for Torres to smash into the top corner!

A very well deserved victory with lots of standout performances but the main was the team work rate & performance against a good side which now puts us back into 2nd place in the table.
