4️⃣ Prioritise sleep – 7–9 hours. Recovery is where the magic happens.
5️⃣ Train with intention – Every rep has a purpose. Control the tempo. Own the movement. Full range. Real intensity. No going through the motions.

I had to walk away from competing to reignite my motivation — but what brought me back was discipline.
In late 2024 I decided to get back in shape, and instead of chasing trends, I went back to what actually works:
fundamentals + health-first habits.
I stopped just counting macros and started prioritising gut health, micronutrients, and recovery — and it changed everything.
I stayed healthier through prep, recovered faster, and I’m in the best place I’ve been post-season.
The real secret?
18 months of consistency.

2025 — the year I came BACK to bodybuilding.
12 shows in 7 months.
Prep started New Year’s Day… and finished 3rd November.
What I never imagined was the level of success that followed:
🏆 4x British Champion
🥈 2nd at the World Championships
🌍 NABBA Universe – 5th
🔥 2Bros British Final – 2nd call-out
…all topped off by pushing through one brutal weekend with COVID because quitting was never an option.
This time last year, my only goal was simple:
win ONE bodybuilding show.
I won seven.
And placed at every single show bar one.
So if you’re setting goals today, here’s the truth:
Results don’t come from motivation.
They come from discipline.
From showing up when it’s hard.
From doing the work when you don’t feel like it.
Or in my language:
Get s**t done when you don’t want to — and keep getting it done when you do.
