Well done to the Ladies Met Div1 team who finished the summer season in 4th, with a final match away at Weoley Hill. Sam, Yang, Michelle and Kate played a tough match, securing an ever important away rubber. Well done ladies & everyone who has played in this team. Thanks to Denise for the fab captaining!

A fantastic, bright, sunny Final’s Day yesterday with some brilliant tennis and lots of support. Thanks to everyone who played in the tournaments this year and to everyone who came down to support.

Late finish for the Ladies 1st team in their final match of the season. A real battle - losing 2 rubbers on Championship tie breaks, resulting in a 3-1 loss to a lovely Coleshill team. (Leanne, Ausra, Holly and Yasmin) Overall, a strong finish in Div2. Thanks to everyone who has played for the team ❤️

The Ladies 1st lost a tough match at Moseley last week - with 2 rubbers going to championship tie breaks. Enjoyable tennis & thanks to Nicky for the home baked cake! (Ausra, Gemma, Sabina & Leanne) Big thanks to Gemma for coming from Telford and Sabina for changing her plans so we could field a team. Little Aston Spirit ❤️

Successful day of Mixed tennis for LATC today!

Mixed 1 - Rob, Holly, Leanne & Simon beat Edgbaston Archery Lawn Tennis Club 3-1 at home.

Mixed 3 - Sam, Luke, Saehj & Summar won 4-0 at Sutton United Tennis Club. Special mention to Summar - making her debut for Little Aston at just 11 years old.

Plenty of teams in action at LATC - the Ladies 1st team drew with Four Oaks Tennis Club 2 (Leanne, Ausra, Holly & Yasmin)

The Men’s 1st team beat Four Oaks 2 4-0 (Rob, Lukas, Dave and Nathan - Nathan’s stunt double Pete pictured as he had to leave) and

The Ladies Met team beat Sutton Coldfield Tennis Club 2 3-1 (Leanne, Michelle, Captain Denise, Nicky & Ausra - Thanks for the lovely hospitality afterwards ☕️)

6-2 win for LATC in the Super Mixed Semi final vs Blossomfield this evening. Well done Simon, Ausra, Lukas and Leanne 👏🏻

Tough opposition today, well played Ausra, Sabina, Sam and Bally! Little Aston had some really close rubbers, including two match tie-breaks, with one going our way. In the end we finished with a draw against Chantry Club. 💪😊🎾

“Funny old game..” for the Mixed 1st team on Sunday - only one pair sent by the opposition, heat, swirling wind, traffic problems - but Leanne/Simon and Gemma/Rob managed to beat the pair who played. Meaning a 4-0 win ⭐️
