BYE 2020, HELLO 2021! 🥂🥳 HAPPY NEW YEARS EVERYONE!
What can we say about 2020? Pretty glad to see the back of it if I am honest! Supposed to be married and on a honeymoon in Thailand right now but wasn’t meant to be. Coronavirus has affected all our lives in so many ways. However, it has taught me a lot about life:
1. That things don’t always go to plan and that’s okay.
2. I love my job.
3. Friends, family and health are the most important things in life.
Although it feels like we haven’t achieved much in Toddler Tennis this year there are a few things to be proud of:
1. We are now an award-winning pre-school activity provider achieving ‘highly commended’ at the What's On 4 Kids Awards 2020. Also won the Club Hub UK - Kids Activities Young Entrepreneur of the year award 2020'.
2. We have started a successful programme at Sutton Coldfield Tennis Club and looking forward to expanding on this as soon as we can.
3. We began selling our own Toddler Tennis Starter Packs (which we always wanted to do!).
4. We ran 22 weeks of online lessons with over 24 hours of video content to keep children active during lockdown.
5. We have continued to deliver our activities safely through a pandemic.
On behalf of myself and Sophie I would like to say a big thank you to all the parents, children, community hall staff and clubs who have been so supportive during this year! Although things aren’t going to change overnight, we are hopeful 2021 will be a good one! Here’s to a happy and healthy year for all, bring it on! 🎾💪
