Great moment for Four Oaks Tennis & Padel Club 🎾

4 of our players made their County Cup debuts at the U8s Midlands event — a massive achievement and a proud day for our club!

Aveer & Ruben representing Warwickshire Boys, finishing 🥇 in the county table 👏
Orin leading the line for Staffordshire Boys as Seed 1 with some outstanding wins 💪
Charlotte (still U7!) playing a year up for Warwickshire Girls — an incredible experience and achievement ⭐

It’s a privilege to have so many young players competing in county performance setups. Representing your county is something that stays with you forever! ❤️🎾

Easter grind paying off 💪🎾

Lottie taking 3rd at a Grade 4 🥉
Alice bringing home 2nd 🥈

So much to like from the sisters this week, competing with confidence, backing themselves in big moments, and showing real composure under pressure 👊

05/04/2026

Huge shoutout to Josh & Rufus 👏🎾

Both boys competed in an LTA Grade 5 tournament and showed fantastic level and determination — each making it through to the semi-finals 💪

Rufus pushed on to the final and finished as runner-up after a tough battle 👊

Brilliant to see all the hard work in practice being put into action on court. The progress is clear — keep it going boys 🔥🎾

Big week for Four Oaks 🎾🔥

Coach Rich representing Warwickshire on the grass courts at Wimbledon this week 👏 — a huge moment, going from county competition all the way to performing on one of the sport’s biggest stages.

Meanwhile, 1st team players Tom & Hussain battled it out in the National Premier League play-offs — narrowly missing out against The Queen’s Club.

A real testament to the level of tennis coming out of Four Oaks right now 💪

From county level to Centre Court… the standard being set is only going one way 📈

Plenty to build on — and the perfect warm-up heading into the summer season ☀️🎾

24/03/2026

8 sessions. One club. Pre Season🎾🔥

We set out ahead of the summer with a clear focus:
• Rally length & consistency
• Communication
• Court positioning
• Energy & presence

The growth across the group has been class — longer rallies, smarter decisions, louder voices, and a real presence on court 💪

Standards are higher, intensity is up, and the team spirit is building week by week.

Now it’s time to take it into the summer…
Four Oaks Tennis Club ready to compete, battle hard, and enjoy it 👊

Foundations laid. Let’s go 🔥

09/03/2026

Roger Federer won 80% of his matches.

But only 54% of the points.

That means even the greatest player in history loses almost every second point.

Yet many coaching environments are designed to eliminate error, avoid failure, and reduce instability.

Tennis isn’t a game of perfection.

It’s a game of adaptation under repeated failure.

Maybe the goal isn’t to remove mistakes.

Maybe it’s to teach players how to respond to them.
