⭐️ Coaches Player of the Week certificate goes to Oliver, this week! ⭐️

‘A great example of a sportsman, Oliver has got stuck back into his league matches and gives everything at the academy sessions a try! It’s a pleasure to see and catch up with him each week!’

Here at Swadlincote Darts Academy it’s not just about the darts, it’s about the community and the atmosphere and is a safe place for young players to enjoy eachothers company.

🎯 Busy night of darts last night - everyone making progress on the Unicorn routines!

⭐️ We had the Weekly Challenge with Emma (who won’t be here next week!) which got very competitive when the parents decided to join in!

⭐️ We had Super Sixteens with Sam, which saw Joey - in his first session - take the lead!

⭐️ We had drama in the 201 league games!
Charles hit 1️⃣0️⃣0️⃣
Kai hit 1️⃣4️⃣0️⃣
We had some very close games which ended up in draws!

⭐️ We had excellent composure in the 301 & 501 league matches!

⭐️ Lewis hosted a tournament which was voted for by the players and will continue next week! Can’t wait to see how this pans out and who will make it into the final??!! 😬😆

⭐️ We have also had requests for a Bull Challenge and The Hoop Game next week…

We just wanted to thank The Anchor Inn, Newhall for hosting the doubles darts tournament last night, raising funds to give back to the young players in the community.

They have raised £329 which will cover the costs of transport and help make a great day of it for the team entered into the National Junior Darts Association Team Academy Cup 🏆 next Sunday!

Thank you to everyone who entered and purchased raffle tickets - this couldn’t have been done without you. Thank you to everyone who scored games so the night could run smoothly! Big shout out to the academy players who scored — well done lads we’re proud of you all 🖤💚

Well done to our losing semi-finalists Sam Eaton & Archie Gee and Tom Boulter & Louis Elliott. It was lovely to see so many of our academy players make it so far in the competition!

We hope any of the darts academy players who attended enjoyed themselves, playing in a very different environment to our usual Wednesday night spot! If anyone else has any photos please share them on this post… 📸

We’re hoping to be running some competitions ourselves at The Ballroom at Woodville, Pool Venue & Bar and potentially other venues, in the coming months, as we hope to create some more darts contacts at the event next weekend🤞🏻
