Youth Team Confirmed for 2026/27!

Following a successful open evening last night regarding the formation of a Youth Team at Morriston Town Football Club, we are delighted to confirm that the club will field a Youth Squad for the 2026/27 season.

This is another exciting step forward for the club and further strengthens the pathway from junior football through to our senior setup.

A number of our current U16s will also be joining the squad as they reach the age of 16 during September and October, providing a fantastic opportunity for our young players to continue their development within the club.

The future is bright at Morriston Town AFC, and we look forward to seeing this new squad take shape in the months ahead.

‼️Pre-season‼️ Let’s Go!

We are so ready to be back out on that pitch after some needed time off! ⚽️

Our training starts back, Tuesday 2nd June at 6pm. Meet at The Di**le!

All are welcome current, previous and new players! We can’t wait to see you there as we start preparing for the 26/27 season!⚽️‼️

What a Result for the ladies‼️

A massive win in our final game of the season. We had to win today to avoid relegation and we did just that!🎉‼️⚽️

From start to finish the ladies put in a fantastic shift. The scoring began after 25 minutes from our Captain Amy. Bryncoch levelled up and took us into half time 1-1.

Amy then added a second, with Bryncoch responding with their own taking it to 2-2. The ladies fought hard though and played some lovely football. Georgie scoring from a lovely corner! And Elleigh finishing off the game with a fantastic strike in the box.

Player of the match today goes to Elleigh. She was amazing at the back making key tackles and driving forward when she could. Some excellent corners and free kicks taken but her. And she topped it off with a goal🎉 Well done ET.

What a season it had been! So many highs and lows but we have come together under one badge and that is testament to the coaches and the ladies. The hard work put in week in week out is unmatched⚽️‼️

Thank you to the club and the supporters who have made themselves heard on the side⚽️ A well deserved break before we crack on with pre-season!⚽️

Today is our final game of the season as we face Bryncoch Ladies ⚽️

Our final game will be at The Di**le at 2pm.

Come down, grab a drink and come support the ladies for the last time this season! ⚽️🎉

Tuesdays result. A disappointing outcome that was a game of two halves.

First half we created so many chances and played some great football but unfortunately couldn’t capitalise on this.

Second half Bony came out fighting and broke the deadlock between the two sides. Some great goals and saves saw us end in defeat.

We wish Bonymaen the best of luck with their final games of the season ⚽️

Player of the match went to Georgie who was on fire in the first half making countless runs down the right wing, she was unlucky to not have scored a few times throughout the game. Very well done Georgie 🎉⚽️

We look onto our next match on Sunday as we face Bryncoch. Our last game of the season⚽️
