🏉 U18's female players wanting to play community rugby (weekend fixtures) this season.

🏉 26/27 sees the development of WRU U18's county/area teams by combining Girls Hubs to represent their area and compete in the National Cup competition and 'Go Compare Road to Finals'. This will ensure healthy squad sizes, increase playing opportunities and a better rugby experience for players and coaches across the community game.

🏉 The U18's National County programme is delivered by Welsh Rugby Union (WRU) Community department to support consistent playing opportunities for girls across the season.

🏉 Players do not need to be in education to be eligible to play in the WRU's Girls U18's County Programme but do need to be registered to their local Girls Hub via My WRU.

🏉 Players within U16's age group, are eligible to play from their 16th birthday onwards.

🏉 Non eligible players (WRU Performance pathway programmes)
(Sep - Dec) Players enrolled or permitted in Welsh Schools and Colleges (WSC) league between September - December (Llandrillo College, Llandovery College, Coleg Sir Gar, Coleg y Cymoedd, Coleg Gwent).
(Jan - Feb) Players selected for PDC U18's West, East, North programme.
(Mar - April) Players selected for Wales U18's training programme.

🏉 As the first step on the Women and Girl’s Performance Pathway, the Emerging Player Programme (EPP) is designed to identify, develop and support talented female rugby players.

🏉 The commitment will require attending one evening per week training throughout the course of the season.

🏉 The programmes will begin at the end of August and beginning of September.

🏉 The programme is designed to compliment and run alongside your training and playing with your Hubs/Clubs and/or school.

🏉 The programme is designed only for players going into u16 age grade (next year's school Year 10 or Year 11).
