🚣‍♀️ Spring Valley Paddlers Make Waves at Worcester Hasler TT! 🚣‍♂️

What a brilliant day of racing for the team at the Worcester Hasler TT earlier today! For many of our paddlers, this was their very first race – and what a way to kick things off! 🌊💪

👏 Huge congratulations to Josh, who stormed his race to bring home a gold medal, and to Ollie and Tom, who both paddled to a well-earned second place and third place in their categories. A fantastic achievement all round! 🥇🥈🥈

We were thrilled to catch up with our friends from Cardiff Bay Kayakers, who also had a successful day on the water. It was especially exciting to see two Welsh clubs out in force – something we have not seen at a Hasler TT in a long time! 🏴🏴

A special shout out to Mary C, who completed her very first race proudly representing Spring Valley, with her daughter Cerys racing for Cardiff. A beautiful moment for both clubs and a great example of what paddling is all about. ❤️🚣‍♀️

Nestled in the stunning Neath Valley, Spring Valley Paddlers has grown into one of South Wales’ most exciting paddling communities – and we are just getting started! 🌄💪

We are proud to call two pristine lakes our home, complete with three launch jetties, our very own slalom training course, fully equipped changing facilities, and even a solar-power for our clubhouse (yes – we are green and clean 🌞♻️). Oh, and did we mention the golf buggy that makes gear-hauling a breeze? 🚗✨

🏆 Weekly sessions are now in full flow, with paddlers training on both the lakes and slalom course. Our new slalom group is taking to the water with passion and determination, while a dedicated crew of five will represent the club in the Hasler TT at Worcester this Sunday – racing under club colours for the very first time! Good luck, team! 💙💛

Whether you are a total beginner or ready to compete, we have got equipment, coaching, and a welcoming community to support your paddling journey. 🌊
