SWWU Archery Leagues

SWWU Outdoors draws to a close. Congratulations to Bath for winning this year! The outdoor roundup can be found on the SWWU website (link in bio).

Last weekend Exeter hosted the SWWU Indoor Championship. Our archers braved the decidedly chilly tennis courts of Exeter uni to shoot a Bray ranking round, followed by matches. When all was said and done, Bristol disrupted Bath’s hitherto unbroken run, winning both the experienced and novice team categories.

Congratulations to the winners who had to run the gauntlet of matches on the way to the top step of the podium! :)

A round up of our indoor champs!

Our biggest ever SWWU with 104 archers followed by an amazing ball where I definitely didn't forget to take pictures 🙃.

The indoor season will be ending with a bang at Bristol!

It will be held on the 23rd of March, with the SWWU Ball held in the evening after the competition. The format will be a Bray 1 followed by Head to Heads.

Back for its 2nd year post Covid and bigger than ever 🎉🎉

It will be held on the 23rd of March at 7pm, which is the evening of the indoor champs (more info soon about that). The menu is shown and we also have vegan smash burger option in addition so plenty of variety!

Round up of our Frostbite!

Despite the name it ended up being a fairly good day for some archery. We had some great performances and more importantly lots of fun. Read the write up on the website for all the results and juicy details.

Our first leg of the new year is coming!

It will be a frostbite at Exeter on the 25th of January.
Make sure you wrap up cause it may be a cold one.

A little late but our round up from the Plymouth SWWU!

There was a lot of chaos and shenanigans as well some interesting results. Especially for the novices as 4 teams are tied for second!
