Great day out at Apex Motocross, with there being no split sessions we were able to play about with the bike a bit more without a time limit. Wednesdays practise main goal was to make sure the RM125 was running correctly. In the 2 runs it was found to have a lack of power especially in the corners. When checking the bike it was found there was an issue with the sensors in the way that they weren't plugged in! After that small error was dealt with, the bike was running a lot smoother with no issues. With the next few runs, we concentrated on the suspensions trying to minimise the back end kicking about and increasing stability down the straights. This was improved a moderate amount but the main improvements will be made back at the workshop. The final issue which needed to be improved was the front brake which was spongey and sometimes no existant, it was bled multiple times but this was a temporary fix. It is believed to be due to an old worn o ring which will need replacing. Overall the day went really well with us getting plenty of data to use ready to improve on for the next practice!
