It was a great day for us on Saturday as we took a small team to the Chunky 7s 2026

We had some great games of touch rugby against , Ystalyfera old boys - YOBS and in the group stages, where we just managed to make the final.

Congratulations to on winning the final in a close game that could have gone either way 👏👏

We would like to thank Stephen Williams from the Yogit and Lee Evans from Pontardawe Old Boys for helping us out, making sure we were able to play in the tournament and playing some great rugby aswell 👏👏

We would like to thank everyone for running a great tournament and day out. We look forward to coming back next year.

In the Chunky 7s on Saturday, one of our players reached a personal milestone.

Chris Austin has now played 50 games for the Old Dogs. This shows great commitment from Chris to reach this in 72 games.

We look forward to seeing a few more names on this list soon. 🐾🐾

In Tryfest on Saturday, one of our players reached a personal milestone.

Ryan Morgan have now played 50 games for the Old Dogs. This shows great commitment from Ryan to reach this in 66 games.

In Tryfest on Saturday, we reached a milestone.

We have managed to score 200 tries in 64 games. The player who managed to cross the line for our 200th try was Ben Phillips 👏 he was assisted by Paul Stevens, who could of got the try himself but unselfishly passed 👏

29 players have scored for us so far as shown in the picture below. This milestone couldn't have be reached without a whole squad effort.

This is a great achievement for us and we look forward to seeing a few more names on this list when we reach 250

It was a great day for us on Saturday at Tryfest hosted by Yogits RFC, & .

We had some great games against teams and players, we have played before as well as making some new friends against teams we haven't played yet. Thank you all for some great games and running touch rugby. We didn't keep score as it was more important to see everyone enjoying rugby instead of trying to win. The biggest win for us was our eldest statesmen crossing the line to score his first try for the old dogs. Simon 'Percy' Davies will tell you he run the length of the pitch to score 👏👏

It was a busy weekend for us

On Friday, We welcomed Ystalyfera old boys - YOBS to Glais RFC. The games were played in a great spirit with some great running rugby being played. All our players enjoyed thoroughly. Also a big thank you to Mark Jones for reffing the games. We look forward to our next match

On Saturday, we joined together with the The Glais Rack Pack -Touch Rugby to enter the Dai Puck Memorial Mixed Tournament. Finishing 3rd in the group and coming away 1 loss, 1 draw and 2 wins, which is a great first run out together.

Massive thank you to Resolven for hosting such a fantastic event in aid of fantastic charities and we look forward to entering next year.

Tomorrow our pack is getting bigger as we are coming together with the The Glais Rack Pack -Touch Rugby as we enter our first mixed tournament.
