Adults Fundamental BJJ will not not be running this day, but will continue as normal the following week

Kids classes will remain on as normal

We are excited to announce that the world-renowned Justin Flores is coming to The Chris Rees Academy on September 20th!
This is a massive opportunity to learn from one of the most sought after coaches on the planet.

🗓 THE SCHEDULE: SEPTEMBER 20th
10:00 AM – Foot Sweeps for Nogi: Learn the art of the effortless trip and the "JFlo" timing.
2:00 PM – Wrestling for Jiu-Jitsu: High-percentage takedowns and transitions specifically adapted for the mats.

This is the first release of tickets for BOTH seminars only.

Strictly limited numbers of these tickets are available.

Tickets for individual seminars will be released later today.

Big weekend for the team

Starting off with being inducted into the MMA Cymru hall of fame

Chris is the first Welsh black belt, started MMA Cymru and pioneered BJJ in Wales

Next up we had receiving the MMA Cymru 2025 Fighter of the year

He had a phenomenal 2025 with a standout performance in the IMMAF World Championships

Followed by .hitehouse picking up bronze in his division for the youth MMA Championships

We then had our super competitive BJJ rascals dominating Pro Sport Grappling under the guidance of coach

Who also picked up gold while he was there with the team

A fantastic weekend has got us fired up for another great week of training at the club

Both kids and adults, classes from 4:30pm

We had four competitors out in action Tanto last night with 4 great performances and 3 Ws coming back to Swansea.
First up were and , 2 of our future superstars showing that hard work and commitment pays off, with both of them coming away with submission vistories inder the way full eye of coach .
Next was who took the decision victory after a dominant performance over a powerful opponent.
Last but not least was on the main card against the extremely experienced and and dangerous Zoe Lundy. This was a great match with both competitors taking one round each before Zoe was able to take the W in the third round. Great performance and Dan will be back!
