As part of our series, we sat down with member Matt from to ask what makes him feel most powerful.

Matt has cerebral palsy, which affects his left side, and has been a member at AF for 13 years. In 2017, Matt entered into disabled bodybuilding, competing nationally and internationally, and is passionate about helping others in the disability community get better access to gyms.

For Matt, feeling powerful is about bringing the people around him up - helping others find what works for them and become the best version of themselves.

Just a friendly reminder to all members, please ensure you use your own access pass every time you enter the club, even when the door is open or another member is entering before you.

Please allow the door to close behind you. And let the next member enter using their own access pass separately. This allows us to keep a record of who is in the club and helps us to prevent any unauthorised access from non members, especially during non staffed hours.
