Today we say good bye to Tracey our Deputy Manager.

Tracey has been more than a Manager to us and has been central to the success of the tennis centre, leading our team over the last seven years.

We would like to thank Tracey for her hard work and dedication. We will miss Tracey and wish her the very best in her future career.

A message from our General Manager

I’d like to extend a warm welcome back to the Tennis Centre for this Autumn Term.

I’m conscious I haven’t introduced myself as the New General Manager. I’ve been fortunate to have worked within Sport and Leisure Management for over 25 years in several roles both within Local Authorities and the private sector. I count myself privileged to be able to apply my knowledge and experience to further build on the successes of the centre.

As you are aware the Tennis Centre have proved successful since TS365 took over the management from Swansea Council. It has been recognised as one of the leading development and performance community indoor tennis centres in the UK.

But we’re not content on saying the centre was ‘the best’, we always want to improve and provide the best to you. We recognise the centre is now entering into a crucial period, there is a need for us to modernise, protect and prepare for our future!

I’ve managed to have a chat with a few customers since I started and now thankfully with a lot more COVID restrictions being lifted I’ll hopefully be able to talk with a lot more to share our vision, plus, and more importantly listen to you.

We are presently looking at ways on how best to consult and obtain your feedback, but in the meantime, if you see me, please feel free to talk …I love listening and sharing our vision!

Swansea Tennis Centre are delighted to announce that Melissa Davies will be taking over as Head of Development from September the 6th.
Melissa is a Level 4 Coach with 25+ years of coaching experience. Melissa has headed up two extremely successful programmes at Whitchurch and Penarth and developed tennis programmes from schools across the Newport/ Cardiff regions. Melissa has been and continues to be heavily involved in South Wales county tennis and has previously been in charge of running significant trips such as Junior Common Wealth Games.
As a player Melissa was an American College Tennis scholar and an ex senior and junior Welsh International.
We look forward to welcoming Melissa Davies to the team tomorrow and are very excited to take the programme to a new level over the next 12 months.
