Fantastic weekend cycling and camping in . Have never been to this part of before and was blown away by how beautiful it is. Took the van which meant we were really able to explore. Complete game changer!
Leg recovery is progressing well, I'm pretty much back to normal with a few exceptions.

Great to be able to use flexitime today! Met with a colleague in this morning for co-working and then cycled home in the gorgeous sunshine. π π΄ββοΈ π

Come on - is this good enough? Weymouth to London line and only one coach for bikes? With more and more people using alternative ways to travel and using public transport, please make it an easier and better experience.

When I planned the route for today, I'd not realised I'd inadvertently be travelling via White Mill, a cute mill house not far from Kingston Lacey. Enjoyable 20 mile loop, albeit very muddy near the end. Route planned with .

First time out on the bike today since ACL and meniscus surgery around 10 weeks ago. Not major distances, prob around 5k or so and no cleats today, just trainers as want to avoid unnecessary twisting. Ride felt good and I'm particularly pleased with how the hamstring seemed happy as I had been worrying about that.
Very pleased to be back out and about. Now to gradually build back up again πππ

More street art spotted in Boscombe, Dorset π¨
Love how otherwise mundane places have been transformed into huge canvases.
The artist aka Tech Moon/ Krishna Malla, has been specialising in large scale mural workΒ for over a decade.

Love these beach huts at Boscombe, Dorset. Super colourful and the perfect place to sit with uninterrupted sea views. Will be a different scene at the weekend I imagine as they'll likely all be being used! Its going to be a scorcher!

Bit more street art from the weekend, from the seafront near where I host free beach meditation and open water swimming sessions at Branksome Beach.
Meditation has been a game changer for me, I've been practicing for a number of years but more seriously since the beginning of last year training with Zen and Buddhist monks in the UK and online overseas. Its improved my mental health, wellbeing and I'd also say my cycling owing to improving overall awareness.
If you're near Dorset and want to come for some meditation and a swim, be sure to follow and come join me at the beach!

Fairly sure a Police call box gets extra points right?

Awesome to be back out on the bike this morning, spotted some awesome street art in
Just a short and predominantly flat little pootle, a couple of little hills but nothing too strenuous.

With the COVID situation as it is worldwide I don't feel comfortable travelling overseas just yet. Potentially I may look to travel again towards the end of this year and into next year but in the meantime I'm contemplating some adventures closer to home!
I've always been so keen to get out of the UK however there's so much to see and appreciate on our own front doorstep. I've been lucky enough to travel all over the world and I was a bit blinkered to that before.
So whilst restrictions continue to lift and C-19 lurks in the background I'll be exploring good o'l Blighty for a bit.
