After our coaching team did their paediatric first aid training course recently we decided to look to do some fundraising to raise money to buy a defibrillator for our gym club.
After mentioning this to one of our gymnasts parents, she’s took it upon her self to get raffle prizes in and what a great job she has done.
We have so far nearly 50 great prizes ranging from vouchers for various leotards to a roast dinner for 4 at Holbourne and even a weekend stay at Haven Devon Cliffs next year. Plus plenty more amazing prizes.

**Display Team 2026 💜**

**One Team. Three Routines. One Incredible Experience.**

Our 55-strong Display Team are performing at the **London Festival of Gymnastics in Brentwood this weekend!**

Over the last 8 months, our gymnasts have shown outstanding commitment, teamwork and dedication, working hard to ensure all three routines are polished and ready for the big stage.

Display gymnastics is truly a team sport, and we couldn’t be prouder of what these gymnasts have achieved together.

A huge thank you to our amazing Display Team coaches for their time, passion and support, and of course to our incredible parents, families and supporters who make opportunities like this possible.

🎪 This week our Preschool and New Reception gymnasts enjoyed a fun-filled trip to the circus... without even leaving the gym!

Our circus-themed session had the gymnasts balancing like tightrope walkers, climbing, sliding and jumping their way through a variety of exciting activities. Alongside developing their physical skills, the children also practised important skills, including waiting their turn, listening to new instructions and building the confidence to be brave and try new things.
It was wonderful to see so many smiles, determined faces and growing independence as they embraced every circus challenge. ⭐🤸‍♀️🎪

✨Gymnast Spotlight: Matilda & Milo ✨

Matilda first joined Delta in 2020, and from the very beginning her love for the sport continued to grow. She competed in numerous competitions and enjoyed every moment of her gymnastics journey. After taking a break for personal reasons, Matilda rejoined Delta earlier this year, where she was welcomed back with open arms.

Since returning, Matilda has worked hard to rebuild her confidence and has gone from strength to strength. She hopes to take part in competitions again and would love to audition for the display team next year. Matilda is also a wonderful role model, always happy to help and encourage younger gymnasts. In the future, she hopes to become a junior coach when she is old enough.

Milo has always loved watching his big sister, Matilda, train and practice her gymnastics skills at home. So when Matilda returned to Delta, Milo couldn’t wait to join too! He loves his Saturday morning sessions and is always excited to tell his family about everything he has learned.

Milo is currently determined to master his cartwheel, and with his enthusiasm, hard work, and the support of the fantastic Delta coaching team, we’re sure he’ll be achieving that goal very soon ✨
We are so proud of both Matilda and Milo and look forward to seeing what they accomplish on their gymnastics journeys in the years ahead. 💜🤸‍♀️🤸‍♂️

🌟 Performance Gymnastics Awards 🌟

In June, our gymnasts have been working on their Performance Gymnastics Awards — a progressive system with Bronze, Silver, Gold and Diamond categories. Each category has six levels, and every level contains ten skills covering core gymnastics, strength, flexibility, co‑ordination and balance.

Gymnasts earn a certificate and medal for each level passed.

Our pre‑school gymnasts follow a simpler pathway: Bronze Pre‑School, Silver Pre‑School and Gold Pre‑School.

We’ll be emailing parents in July to confirm which level their gymnast is working at and what they have achieved.

Certificates and medals are available to purchase via the club shop.

Libby has been part of our competition and Display Team since 2022, and she’s been a consistently solid performer from day one. Reliable, hardworking, and always smiling, she brings confidence and calm to every routine.

Alongside her gymnastics, Libby is a valued member of our coaching team. She loves helping the younger squad learn new moves, build confidence, and get ready for competitions.

Libby coaches alongside her brother Jacob, and more recently her mum has joined the coaching team too — making them a true Delta family trio.
